Bookmarks List

This is a collection of bookmarks, bookmark is represented as one item within a bookmarks list.
You can create as many lists as you wish and load a list into a Bookmark List for use

List Columns:
Definition

Your definition of bookmark, it may be anything you want, a number or a name. Definition of bookmark can be used also with Playback Scheduler

Start Time

A cell where the playback start time is shown, you may enter here your start time values manually or use buttons located on navigation bar.
End Time

A cell where the playback finish time is shown, you may enter here your start time values manually or use buttons located on navigation bar.

Length

The total bookmark's playback duration is shown. Not editable.

Description

Here optionally you may enter bookmark's description

Location

This cell shows a path to assigned file.
This is optional as the bookmarks may be used without any files assigned.
If you do not assign any file then bookmark may be used with Playback Scheduler to play media files with that bookmark.

If needed then you can enter a path to a file manually or use 'Attach File To Bookmark' command located at navigation bar.

 

Navigation Bar


A navigation bar is located on the right side of bookmark list and contains all the commands for managing bookmarks
Commands are grouped into a few groups;

 

List - group of commands for adding and removing bookmarks
 

New

Add new bookmark to the currently loaded list, if no list is loaded then it will create a new list and add a bookmark to that list.

 

Remove Bookmarks

Remove selected bookmarks from current list. To remove all bookmarks use Select All command form Selection menu and then click this button.
 

Add Files From Browser

Add files from disk as bookmarks to current list

 

 

Edit Bookmark - group of commands for editing bookmark
 

Start Time

Sets bookmark's start time. The media file will start playback at given time position.

How to set:

Select the bookmark at the list you want to set up. If there is no bookmarks add one by use New bookmark command
Start the playback of audio or video.
Click this Start Time button to set the starting position, exactly the same as the current playback time is.

You can also enter the time manually by editing the cell directly.

 

Finish Time

Set bookmark's finish time. The media file will stop its playback at given time position.

How to set:

Select the bookmark at the list you want to set up. If there is no bookmarks add one by use New bookmark command
Start the playback of audio or video.
Click this Finish Time button to set the ending position, exactly the same as the current playback time is.

You can also enter the time manually by editing the cell directly.

 

Set Finish Time From File

Sets bookmark's finish time to the end of a media file

 

Attach File To Bookmark

Attaches selected file from File Browser to selected bookmark.
 

 

Edit Selection - group of commands for edit selected bookmarks at list

 

Select All

Select all bookmarks on the list

 

Deselect

Deselect all bookmarks on the list

 

Cut

Cut the selected bookmarks, data will be moved through the clipboard after use Paste command

 

Copy

Copy the selected bookmarks, data will be copied through the clipboard after use Paste command

 

Paste

Paste bookmarks through clipboard that has been selected by Cut or Copy command.
 

Move Up

Moves selected bookmarks within the list Up

 

Move Down

Moves selected bookmarks within the list Down

 

 

Options Group

This group contains a few options for bookmarks list

 

Confirm list items removal

If this option is selected then you will be asked to confirm before items removal

Start over at the end of the list

If this option is selected then when playback of bookmarks reaches the last bookmark it will start over from the first bookmark on the list.

Set bookmark Finish Time from file

When this option is checked software will automatically set bookmark's 'Finish Time' to the file end.
